The person who posted this screenshot said it was from the WotLK beta forums, but I can't double check that right now. Anyways, it looks like balance druids get a new pet bar for the treants.

Target of Target says that thing is a Runed Stone Giant. The quest log supports this.

Okay, honest mistake on the new treant...but that's obviously a pet bar, and it does say "treant" (singular) under the players avatar.
repair your gear.
Treants will have a pet bar on WoTLK, Question is though- will they be able to survive long enouph to actually make that matter.... :\
