Paladin ranged abilityFollow

I saw a video of a paladin firing what looked like a spell at an enemy, do paladins have any ranged spells? One more hotkey question, I also saw in the video how he had abilities directly above the 1-9 hotkeys, how do you do that?

What you saw was most likely Hammer of Wrath.

And in your options is a choice to add action bars to the lower left, lower right, and 2 bars to the right side of your screen.

I dont know if thats what it was because the ability was used on 2 healthy lvl 62 elites near the beginning of this video, and also how he had his bars set up right above the 1-9 bar, also, by looking at it can anyone tell me what addons he had and what they do, thanks

That spell is Avenger's Shield. Addons I'm not sure about -- didn't look like anything terribly special.

Thats not a great example of pally tanking, he has blessing of might and uses Seal of the Crusader the whole time. A real prot pally uses Blessing of Sanctuary and Seal of Wisdom. He also never judged the seal to do extra holy dam(or judged wisdom or light for more mana/hp) which is just dumb. Which is also why he had to bubble+heal and then use LoH.

The Blessings and Seals on radials i know i've seen before, looks a bit like Neverwinter Nights UI. But once you have the pally power mod you don't need blessings anywhere on the screen normally. And if you're tanking you need the 2-3 seals that you use all the time(SoR, SotC, SoW) hotkeyed or on your main bar so you don't have to click them somewhere imo.

The point of the video was a pally Soloing 2 elites one level higher than him, not really a tanking demonstration. (Also he had salvation on.)

Is PallyPower worth it for a just a single Paladin? I was under the impression it was meant to manage several paladin's buffs.

I think you missed the point of each question asked in this thread. ;-)

It's worth it anytime you are in a party or raid, regardless of the number of Paladins present. As the number of players and/or number of Paladins increase, it just gets that much more worthwhile.

EDIT: omg just looked at the video. Yes, that's Avenger's Shield, but more importantly: yes, that is a BAD example of a Prot Paladin. I don't care that he's not tanking, he's still sucking at his spec >.<

It's Hadar's Holy Hope. I use it for blessings, it's neat.

Also, loldevotionaura.

There are several ranged Paladin abilities. Even Judgement has a 10-yard range. Avenger's Shield is 30 yards, Exorcism is 30 yards, Hammer of Wrath is 30 yards, Holy Wrath is a 20-yard radius, and there are others I am missing here, but I wasn't going for an exhaustive list.
