Trinket problem solvedFollow

Greetings,

I have, as most hunters do, agonized over my trinkets and the absolutely suck rate of drop of good hunter trinkets. I am a kara level hunter so this may not apply to everyone but it should work for most.

Yesterday I spent 800g leveling alchemy to 375, I overpayed for may mats and could have spent less if I had been patient. (dropped skinning) I will likely spend 1200g or so on mats for the assassin's alchemist stone (depending on wether I wait for transmute times ect.) Stone is 108 AP(56 AP gain over the core of arkelos) and a 40% extra boost on mana(which is pretty damn huge IMO).

Now left with bladefists breath(nice but I am sick of looking at it). I have 74 badges saved which were going to the gauntlets of rapidity. Changed my mind. 41 badges = bloodlust brooch = 72 AP gain and better on use AP boost.

Oh noes you say, crit is going to suffer. I say master assassin's wristwraps 35 badges FTW. I will lose only 6 crit total from bladesfist (wrist's gemmed with +4hit +4 AGI) and gain 10 AP and 4 hit. (replacing stalkers warbands from attunmen)

So - 2200g and 76 badges will get me a boost of 138AP and 4 hit with a loss of 6 crit and 17 int.

Thoughts?

I guess if you got the cash to spare it is worth it. For my trinkets I just grinded BM for the crit one and got the darkmoon card. I have a few others like bloodlust from badges and the skyguard epic one from rep. I think if you got the cash why not.

Hourglass has not dropped.

Abacus has not dropped.

Guild is currently trying to get some more peeps to get to 25 man content but those are the only trinkets really available to me that I would equip right now.

Bloodlust+Assassin's stone>than most 2 trinket combinations for BM hunter I think.

PS How much did that darkmoon card cost? Goes for ALOT on my server (I am assuming crit card you are in your arena gear in armory now)

I was lucky I found the cards pretty cheap. only one was over 150g. I have this one:

* Equip: Each time you deal melee or ranged damage to an opponent, you gain 6 attack power for the next 10 sec., stacking up to 20 times. Each time you land a harmful spell on an opponent, you gain 8 spell damage for the next 10 sec., stacking up to 10 times.

So that mixed with the Hourglass is a nice combo for raids. I think I ran BM about 35times before mine dropped. I almost cried when it did, last time I ever ran that damned instance.

Nice trinket. About on par with the alc stone I think, although I am pretty excited about the 40% extra mana when I pot.

Is Hourglass better than bloodlust? God I hope not as, by your numbers, I still have 25 BM runs to go.

Depends I am MM/SV pvp spec, for BM either or will work. I focus on crit alot for burst dmg. When I raid it is nice, when I use the Card with it.

I am so sick of running BM and either not having the hourglass drop or getting out-rolled on it. I'd have to say I've run it twenty or so times and had four opportunities to roll with no wins. May all you trinket-hogging, high-rolling rogues burn in hell.
