Well, I know you said "silly" in your title but I am going to respond seriously.
The Cake is a lie!!!!!1111!! Actually, I do have some ideas on your dilemma.
Quote:
Time is money, friend.
You are spending time to get (ingame) money for re-speccs by questing, farming or dailies.
You are spending time to level a new character.
Now for me, I spent some time (and plenty of money!!) making my Frozen Shadoweave set. I too, would like to explore the healy side of priesting but there are a few roadblocks. I am certainly not going to drop my tailoring specialization to make the Primal Mooncloth set. Nuh uh, no way. Sure, it's
possible but I personally am not interested. So, in addition to re-spec costs, there are the costs (both of time and money) associated with gearing up for a healing spec. This is primarily an investment of money over time, although time is definitely a factor.
Ok, now simply level up a new priest. But wait, you're sick of leveling? (I don't know if
you are or not, it's a hypothesis or something, ya know?) This is what I decided on. I am kinda sick of leveling, but at the same time I think a Disc/Holy build with Spirit tap might be fun. With the increased speed in leveling 20- 60 coupled with the level 30 mounts, it might not be too bad. This is primarily an investment of time over money. I prefer time, as fortunately (actually unfortunately but w/e) I actually have more time to spend than money. I get more bored doing dailies than leveling so it's a trade off.
Well, I think I've rambled on enough. Kids, my post is what happens when you blend insomnia with an over abundance of caffeine.
