Have a dilemma guys,
In a week or 2 i should be at 1800, at which point i can purchase my Vengeful Weapons, or i can upgrade my gladiator chest to brutal and then my brutal helmet with swords last priority.
Keeping in mind that 1800 is a tough task for my partner and I so S3 weapons might be a better choice first because staying at 1800 could be quite hard for us.
You could also argue that S3 swords aren't a big dmg increase from badge fists, but the sword spec for PvE would also benefit my dps.

I'd say get S3 swords first. Just like you said getting to 1800 would be a hard task so it would be better for you to get the S3 weapons outta way. If you can get to 1800, then getting to 1600 would be no problem so S4 chest can wait until you get enough points.
S3 swords will be the best choice if you can't get 2050 this season and you know it (or you're not pushing for it this early, like myself).
