I've just started arena again with a mage friend. He has just spec'd arcane for raids. We seem to be having trouble in 2v2 arena. He gets ff quick and goes down really fast. I was wondering if i should find a different arena partner or convince him to respec frost for arena. I just wanted the opinion of some more experienced players.

Farm s2, spec Frost for PvP otherwise he is a glass cannon that is very easy to kill.

Use your BoF too keep him moving, use BoP to help him live. If you are Ret/Frost time your CC, have macros. Sheep x 20, Hammer of Justice, Counterspell, Repentance one, and burn the other guy fast. (Not necessarily in that order). If you are holy well, that's a shame and you might have to accept that certain groups will steam roll you.

K ty for the input. I was also wondering if i should grind for the s2 weapon or keep stormherald. I was just wondering bc i would be losing resil, hit, and crit for a gain of a slower weapon, more stam, and higher end damage.

edit: and a 4 second stun which seems to be iffy when it procs.
