If you had 8/8 t6 and a set of Brutal/Vengeful gear with Vindicator slowly being replaced with Guardian what would you put in which slot?

For the purpose of 5v5 pvp where pallies need 200-250 resilience.

If you PvP wear the PvP set, if you PvE where the PvE set. Now if you have to cover both areas with one set (or combination of), that makes it more difficult a decision.

i would guess, start with the pvp gloves, they give a nice little quasi set bonus.

Class time.

In terms of 5v5 pvp t6 is actually a better choice in that Paladins are never the first burn target but are rather CC'ed out of the game. That is if the other team has a shaman to purge the BoSac off the target who received it, if not its a little more tricky. A mix of PvE and PvP provides a number of bonuses that pure PvP or PvE doesn't. It provides the necessary base resilience to allow you to survive in case things go wonky and you do get attention of the dps sort while also giving you the mp5 and crit far exceeding anything S3 or S4 could come close too allowing you to keep healing without needing a drink long after a 450+ resilience paladin would have screamed uncle.

So a lot of end game PvP Holy pallies want t6 since 5v5 is where they are the strongest and in the most demand as an Arena healer. So 8 piece t6 is ideal in that you can swap out pieces and maintain 4 piece t6 bonus (5% extra crit to Holy Light and 5% increase in heals to FoL) while getting a 2/4 set bonus in S3 or S4.

So if you have t6 http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/itemset.html?setid=681 and the Glad gear http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/itemset.html?setid=690

How would you stack it to maintain bonuses and increase stats in the most efficient way?

its guessing time!

anyway, if you wanted both 4set bonuses, you need to keep the T6 bracers,belt, and boots as the pvp equiv doesnt work toward bonus. and of the remaining pieces, you would want to ditch the T6 Helm (no MP5) and the gloves (for the 2% crit bonus of the pvp ones).

T6 = bracers/belt/boots then chest or legs
S3/4 = Gloves/Helm/shoulders then chest or legs

but S3 shoulders would be the problem area.

guessing over.

Same conclusion I am at.

I am using 4 piece bonus from belt, boots, wrists and shoulders. I have Brutal Chest and Gloves, Vengeful legs, though I almost rather use my sunwell crafted gloves. I am working on the s4 helm. I have the badge pvp cloak, guardian neck, guardian ring, 2min pvp trinket with 20 res, I use hyjal ring and Tome of Diabolic Remedy.

Had a wonky arena where we managed to kill the Pally on the other side just as the warrior killed the Hunter on my side which left me with 800 mana vs a full s3/s4 warrior. Managed to kill him without too much of a hassle. Also had a couple matches where burn teams have tried to take me out and I have lived.
