Yeah I noticed that. :( Very disappointed, it really seemed like it was what we needed in PVP as well as something fun for soloing. Instead we get a roots trap? :S

As a hunter in real life (deer and ducks) :) I use camo to hunt, they need to give it back to us.

That was one of my biggest reasons for wanting to stay a hunter in the expansion... hella stealthy cow

I am totally not excited by the current abilities we have slated for us for the expansion. I really hope there's something we don't know about. Bear Trap doesn't excite me at all, since it's basically freezing trap with a dot component. Kill Shot is nice, I suppose, but doesn't do anything amazing that I can see. The only skill that looks mildly interesting to me is Exposive Shot, which is the 51-pt survival talent.

Kill shot is basically execute with a very long range, Explosive Shot is Seed of Corruption....
Camouflage was/is Vanish+cloak o'Skill.

So is there really anything here that's gonna help us out in PVP much at all? Bear trap will be trinketed or self-break or whatever, and would have used up the cooldown for another trap anyway. I suppose some of the pet abilities will help but I hardly see them turning the tide.

I was quite happy with what we were getting, but it's diminished somewhat.

camouflage would make the night elf racial really useless and it would OP hunters.
when a rogue gets a jump on you, you can snare him or stun him and run the heck away. when a hunter does your just screwed

Oh boy! Pessimist time!

Hey, not only those things but add this: other classes are getting buffs as well! So, we won't be getting much and they might be- bring out the beer and add the salty tears!

LOL! ^_^

I think you can sign up for the open Beta now can't you? Test it for yourself!

Not at all, It was supposed to be on a 5 min cooldown, so not something you would be able to use anytime you got out combat.

and it would OP hunters.

As for OP... we desperatly need some new tricks up our sleave for pvp as well...

Heroic Leap:
Leap through the air and slam down on all enemies within 5 yards of the target area, causing 50% weapon damage and stunning them.

Infected Wounds:
Your Shred, Maul and Mangle attacks have a 33/66/100% chance to cause an Infected Wound in the target. The Infected Wound reduces the movement speed and attack speed of the target by 10%. Stacks up to 5 times. Lasts 12 sec.

Shadow Dance:
Instantly enter stealth and begin the Shadow Dance. For 9 sec you will reenter stealth every 3 secs.

These are some of the new things that we will most likely having to deal with..... and sadly I dont thing a "Bear Trap" is gonna save our behind. Looking at what other classes are getting, I didn't think that Camouflage was really that OP.

These are some of the new things that we will most likely having to deal with see nerfed fixed...

here, it's fixed...
seriously - stop QQing, its, like, the very beginning of the BETA - many things will change/be balanced - no reason to quit just now...
