Getting the Whitemend set and Primal Mooncloth set sounds like a good idea, but trying to get the mats to make them all hurts.
Here's what I need at the moment
  • 27 Primal Life
  • 29 Primal Water
  • 22 Primal Mana
  • 10 Primal Earth
  • 10 Primal Fire
  • 10 Primal Air

I'm hoping that I'll have more than enough quests left to do to get that gold after getting my flyer (I've still got most of the group quests of nagrand to do, and have not long started in BEM).

In Conclusion, A laundry list of expensive mats makes me wanna cry (I'm also moving my warrior over to my priests server so I can sell 2 nether vortex's)

On my server, that would be 2500 - 3000G, depending on the "price of the day".

My priest will hit 70 soon I hope (56 now, moving fast). Fortunately, my main is sitting on around 40k gold and has lots of primals in bank. I'm glad to finally have something to spend it on. :D

I still have to decide to be healer or shadow, though.

Yeah, I'm hoping I can quest the coins to be able to afford all the mats I need, as I just got up to the Ruuan Veil quest hub (haven't done any of them yet) and am sitting on just about 300g, so hopefully tomorrow my warrior will make his way over to my priests server, sell a couple of nether vortex's, my priest can get his flying mount, and then all quest coins will go towards my primal mooncloth and whitemend sets.

On another note, I finally managed to get a Steamvaults group last night, fell apart a bit at the first boss, managed to get other people, got the first boss down, then the GF starts complaining that I'm still playing the game at that time of night, so had to quit the group (I really wanted to do the second boss for the healing staff).

If you haven't yet moved your warrior over to your priest's server, take a look at some items that might be large price differences. Check the AH on both servers and compare prices of certain gems, raiding food (+heal/+dmg/30stam), hearts of darkness, and so on, see if you can make yourself a nice profit there.

Also, no idea how much raiding you've done so far, but if you're well into Kara I might forgo the robes and belt. The robes from ZA and Belt of the Long Road (crafted) are both better if you look at the pieces, but you lose the regen from the set bonus. You end up with a lot more stamina and a lot more money, though.

I've made the full set now, and got me 2 epic pieces from Kara last night (technically 3, but I got the healing gloves off Attumen {which I need to gem}, the t4 gloves token {which I will either hand in when I finally get another piece of t4, or if my guild needs me to respec to shadow at all}, and the healing neck piece from nightbane{no stats, but good healing and mp/5})
Just need to focus on getting the whitemend set now.

I'd get T4 healing. The T4 shadow gloves are pretty horrible; grab the ones from Attumen or the ones from heroic Magister's, both are a ton better, or even the ones from the Old Hillsbrad quest.

Are you referring to the Tempest's Touch? Because if so that makes me feel a whole lot better. I just got those the other night and was all, should I spend money on purified shadow pearls for these? Will I have them long enough? Teacake = cheapcake. But these seemed nice so I went ahead and did it. I'm not even 70 yet (almost 69 and counting) and nowhere near ready for heroics (only 890+healing without the mooncloth set on yet), so they'll last me a while it seems?

Also Ruinator, I just got a healing staff from Steamvault the other night.Smiley: nod It's got Naga parts on top. It's kind of... disgusting.

I just dropped skinning for tailoring and just finished making the primal mooncloth pieces, gemming them up and enchanting the chest. 2500 gold later I've now got to worry about whether I'll be able to afford the regular flyer when I hit 70. Smiley: rolleyes

Huh? What do you mean this thread was not about me?

Actually I was referring to using those as shadow gloves, not healing :x But, now that I look at them, they're not too far off from Prismatic Mittens of Mending from Bot (lose some regen same +healing), and you don't have to wait for them to drop.
