me and my friend rogue are about to start douing. So he has me change to holy but all the gear at 40 has preety much no int or spirit should i just use like mail or anything else? And any tips for the dou would be nice thx ahead of time.

two DPS speccs level faster than a dps and healer spec. Don't switch unless YOU want to be holy.

/agree

ret/rogue will be your best questing/grinding combo. if you plan on doing a lot of instances then prot or holy may be a good choice. but not so much for questing.
