Yeah, I know things will change between now and when WotLK is released, but I wanted to start hypothesizing (sp?) a talent build for Moonkins. There are so many options it seems now, such as OOC including spell damage as well. Anyways, messing with the talent tree over at mmo-champion, I came up with this possible build:
http://www.mmo-champion.com/talent/?druid=000000000000000000000000000230203312000000000000000000141222125031232213035011251

I chose Master Shapeshifter over more points in Moonfury or Wrath of Cenarius because it gave spell damage to all spells instead of just a few. I don't know if more spell damage to IS is really worth it or not, but it'll also give more spell damage to Typhoon, Hurricane, and Starfall. I left Eclipse alone for now because I'm not sure what to make of it. All I can gather from it is that I have a small percent chance upon using one spell to gain another small percent chance when using another ability.

I'm no expert, so please, those who are, can you maybe help clear up some of these new abilities?

Thanks.

as an aside, im looking at this from a pvp perspective, as thats what i mostly do, but this is what i would personally do for a pvp-oriented balance build:

Pretty much. What it does is (assuming you put max points) is...

When you get a crit with Starfire, you have a 60% chance of doing increased wrath damage (+10%)
When you get a crit with Wrath, you have a 60% chance of getting an increase in criting with Starfire. (10%)
Buffs last 30 secs and has a cooldown of 2 minutes between procs.

I had actually planned to get that, but considering I mainly use Starfire as my main damage spell (inside dungeons and stuff at least) I'll pass on it. Might try it out when it comes in, but with the 2 min 'cooldown' it has might not be worth it. Of course if the cooldown is done and the first wrath spell gives the buff, then it might be different, but I don't want to have to spam wrath for it.

Thanks a lot, didn't notice that gave extra damage. Now I've got even more talents to choose between. >.<;

Looking at this as a PvE build, at least until I can try Typhoon out.

Owlkin frenzy looks great for leveling, but curious, think it'd proc of AoE effects?
