Recently I've joined a new raiding guild that has been raiding MH/BT. However, we recently had some problems trying to fill raid slots because people were on holiday etc, so the raid leaders decided to leave raiding for a while, ie a raid break. We still raid Kara and ZA every week, though.

I'm not yet geared for MH/BT, but I'd like to join MH/BT raids when we resume raiding in mid or end august. At the moment I've got 1891 healing and 203 mp5 while casting. I've almost got enough badges for the badge pants, wich allows me to equip my t4 headpiece as well (since I dont have the Whitemend set bonus any longer). After that I'll try to get the chest from Nalorakk and the badge mace (with Aran's off-hand, wich I already have) before we resume raiding. With these upgrades I'd be sitting at 2102 healing and 206 mp5.

So, at long last, my question. Do you guys think that'd be good enough for MH and early BT? And if not have you got any suggestions?

Good enough for starting MH and BT for sure. Definitely get the badge leggings when you can, they're excellent for the effort it takes to get them. I'd also try to get hold of the second ZA chest staff if you can, or combine the healing mace from zul'jin with the badge offhand. That would give you enough +heal to get some more spirit oriented gems in your gear to boost your mana regeneration (one of your stats which is suffering a little).

ZA chest
ZA helm
ZA neck
Badges boots
Badges gloves
Belt of the Long Road
ZA mace/Badges mace + badges offhand
Are all pretty big upgrades. For the badges, I'd get pants->weapon/offhand->boots->gloves.

And you're going to want a few pieces of gear that will boost your health up to 9k self-buffed without sacrificing too much else. That should put you around 9.5-10k for Naj'entus and Council, assuming they're that far in.

You're in good enough gear to clear all but Archi in Hyjal and the first half of Temple or so, if they're still progressing. If they're mostly in full T6, have Archi and Illidan pretty much on farm, ect, you're plenty geared enough.

Thanks for the tips, I've just gotten the badge pants and I've also got ZA tonight so I hope I can pick something up :)

Edit: Were not that far in, just 3/5 MH and 3/9 BT
