Kill command macroFollow

#1 Jul 18 2008 at 8:33 AM Rating: Decent
I dont have kill command yet, probably wont for a while actually. I was just looking up what abilities become available at different lvls and got curious about kill command. I'm not too good with macros, so I'm wondering if its possible to write a macro that will cast kill command automatically if you get a crit. and i guess do nothing if its still on cooldown when you crit again.

thanks

#showtooltip Steady Shot
/cast !Auto shot
/cast [target=pettarget, exists] Kill command
/cast Steady shot
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear()

just use a shot macro like the one above and just assign it to a key and spam it and it will be cast if it is able to be cast

Athien reccommends this macro in his sticky. I personally have been using this macro with the BM Spec and really like it. The nodead added into the macro instead of exist is suppose to keep the pet from bugging out. I have never seen it happen, but have not had probs since I started using. Good Luck!

#showtooltip Steady Shot
/script UIErrorsFrame:Hide()
/cast !autoshot
/cast steady shot
/cast [exists, target=pettarget, nodead] Kill Command
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear(); UIErrorsFrame:Show()

I assign it to a keybinding. It is num pad 1 and just spam the crap outta it. The only latency I see it in is if I am in a steady shot when it proc's, but since I am spamming it when the stead shot is complete the kill command part triggers and casts it.

It's Aethien.

Also, if you have a Windserpent you'll have too put a /cast Lightning Breath in there somewhere.

That's also an amazing macro. I've been using it myself ever since KC started to lock up after one of the patches.

It basically detaches the KC part of the steady macro and gives it its Own KC macro... that the steady shot macro then references. So if KC locks up, it isn't your Steady Shot that gets borked.

I know I'm not BM and I don't use a 2.8 weapon, but I used to get grief from KC all the time and this macro saved my sanity. ;b
