Fury helpFollow

I am pretty new at the game and i'm having a blast playing. I've been leveling a Warrior and that's about the only character i have time to play. I like to duel wield and a friend and fellow player told me that they're better spec'd for Fury. Any advice on where to put those points would be appreciated. Thanks.

Check the sticky for talent builds, and then start filling them up.

And yes, you'll want to go Fury if you dual wield. The Dual Wield Specialization and Precision are in that tree.

YJM is right. As the talents exist now, Fury is the 'DW' (Dual Weild) tree. A lot of the most useful talents for a DW warrior can be found there, and there are many tried and true builds you can find on these forums, over at wowwiki, etc.

That said... if youre just levelling up your first toon, there's no reason you cant try different things out, mis-spend a few talent points on something that sounds interesting/fun. There's nothing stopping an Arms, Prot or Hybrid warrior from Dual Weilding, and in fact, there are some talents that benefit a Dual Weilding warrior placed deep in the Arms and Prot trees that you wouldnt necessarily have access to if you went with a cookie cutter (41+ point) fury build.

Once you get into content where you'll want/be expected to maximize your performance, specific talent combos will be more important and you can just respec to whatever build you like. But for now, I'd say just have fun with it.

Leveling dual wield is fine. As for talents -

-Fury-
Cruelty is a must.
Unbridled wrath is nice, but Imp demo shout is useful as well.
Blood Craze, nice for low down time between fights.
Duel wild spec, not as great as some other talents, but better than most, shouldn't be necessary, but putting points in it wont hurt.
Enrage is a must.
Sweeping strikes is a must.
Weapon mastery is very nice.
Flurry is a must.
Bloodthirst is a must.
Precision is a must.

Imp berserker stance is not needed until you start doing groups where your not getting hit.
Rampage is more of a raid buff, but it's still a very nice dps boost.

-Arms-
Deflection for leveling is great
Imp T.clap is great for that tier of points spent.
Imp heroic strike is good, while duel wielding you'll only have a few skill based attacks.
Imp charge is nice for leveling or grinding, but generally you'll have other points to spend elsewhere.
Deep wounds is nice for leveling, but it's better as you gain levels
Imp overpower is nice for leveling, once you have flurry.
Impale is not as great for leveling, but it's still better than other options in arms.
Deathwish is overall a nice thing to have. Extra fear break (any stance) extra spike dps, more incoming damage. Take it or leave it, it's generally a nice thing to have.

That's about as far as I'd go in arms while duel wielding. While weapon specs are nice, they don't do duel wield great justice. While leveling you'll probably be changing gear every few levels or so. Don't worry about what type of weapon, just stick the highest dps weapon in your Main Hand, and the lower DPS in the Off Hand. If they are the same dps, the slower one goes in the Main Hand.
