Hey guys I knows theres probably been twink threads before so I wont pester you all too much. If you do know of some other threads or stickies that can answer some of my questions please point me in that direction.
With that said....
I want to twink my paladin, preferably as ret so I can hit like a truck. I'm just a bit skeptical about it because I don't know how effective I could be as ret a twink. Perhaps at 29 or maybe 39 but i'm just not sure. So I just wondering what you all would do. Would you..
A) Twink in 19 as healer or FCer
B) Twink at 29 as heals/FC/Ret
C) Twink at 39 heals/FC/Ret

In my VERY LIMITED experience, Pallies don't twink all that well. If you wanna twink at 29 you should already have Verigan's Fist, which is pretty hard to beat, so you can just spend money on armor/rings/enchants at 29 and be able to smash face pretty good.
My real advice tho would be to wait until you are around 55-60 level when everything starts to balance out and then just run enough WSG and AB to get marks that you need for stuff you wanna buy, and POUND AV for honor and marks.
In the end, some of the early honor trinkets and stuff you can get for doing BGs early on is nice, but the bulk of stuff that you will REALLY want is for when you hit 70.... SOOO, do BGs early for fun and for some nice trinkets and junk, do MORE BGs in the 55-60 bracket, and then do a TON of BGs once you get to the point where you can do EOTS, etc.
Also, WOTLK is in beta now, so it should be coming out by year's end (we can always hope!), so now we will need to start banking honor for all of the level 80 gear... Oh well.. the game is supposed to take us to level 100 eventually, so I guess it never ends....

I tend to agree that Palies a tough to twink. The rog super twinks will still tear you up and it feels like you wasted all your effort. The later you go in levels the better I would suggest 39 out of the brackets you listed. Even though the "super twink" rogs will still own you, it won't be as bad.
A 39 Ret Paladin can crank out serious damage, that's essentially their hayday for BGs. If you can get enough str in your gear, you can hit very hard, and when SoC procs it's really great.
