yea hi i have played hunter as my main for a desent amount of time but never really looked up how to be the best i can be untill only resently.... i have all ways wounderd wat Survival is all about... i asumed it was odd to have melee effects when a hunter is suppose to be ranged... some one shead so light on this topic and about what it is used for and some key talents in there.
The point is to have as much agi as possible while having expose weakness.

Thats the spec I use. Cheeky's shows it to be more dps than the cookie cutter (for me, as always, mileage may vary) and I don't have to adjust to IAotH procs. Plus it lets me pick up some nifty trapping talents for herois.
Expose Weakness, Lightening Reflexes, and (as always) Mortal Shots are the mandatory talents. Thrill of the Hunt, Survival Instincts, Monster/Humanoid Slaying, and Surefooted are all pretty awesome too. :)
The rest of Survival is really just for flavor. :\

Wow... sub-D'd and only 1 response. I admit, the post sniffs like a troll (1st post, flame name, spelling/grammar, etc.) but I applaud leatrocks for taking the post seriously.
Some advice pyroboyhunter, put a little more effort into your posts and take a look at the top of the forum. There is a sticky there that will deal with the majority of your question very nicely, however, it does come from a fairly generic perspective. You might discover that a lot of opinions rage around what you are attempting to do with your Hunter which gets more specific.
So, if you want more input then get a little more detailed and let us know what target you are trying to hit. I think you'll quickly find that the advantages of a given talent tree and talents within change with the role you want to play. We're all happy to help you out if we know what you want to accomplish.
