Spec: going for PVE then PVP once i get geared up nice (Sword Combat)

I'm still fairly new to lvl 70. It's been about 2 weeks now. I've been able to gather up some fairly nice epics from hours and hours of Battlegrounds and lucky H instance drops.
Actually last H MgT i was able to get the epic dagger, Shard of contempt, and the epic sword (which i probably won't use).
As far as upgrading, i figured i'd follow shadowpanther's guide and pick up the top BG rewards for PVE spec:
Chest- Merciless GLad Leather Tunic
Wrist- Guardian's Dragonhide Bracers
Ring- Vindicators band of triumph
and Dory's embrace, Nyn'jahs tabi boots from Badges.
MY question is... what am i doing wrong to only have 1340 power and 142 hit? My crit is decent at 25%. For my talent build i tried to do a little hybrid set with 11/44/6 IS this a terrible build? What should i prob change it to?
I really like pvp alot and usually finish towards the top even with my pve'ish build.. but i'd love to start getting into bigger raids and running kara more often.
What do you guys think?

Read Theo's PvP guide and his compendium.
Don't try to PvP with a PvE spec, just respec when you go to do one or the other, its not that expensive.
Part of your problem is you suck at gemming, +6 STR and +12 STA, thats pretty bad. Other than that I can't see why you have low AP.
And that spec makes the baby Jesus cry, like I said, read Theo's guides/the stickies.

Yeah, my gemming is really bad. I used to just buy whatever with the gold i have but i'm not going anything short of epic gems now.
Is this your PvE build? If so, quit skimping and take off the PvP head enchant in favor of a PvE one. Switch your meta gem to Relentless Earthstorm Diamond, and use Shifting Nightseye to activate it, not those +12 stamina gems. Better yet, do the quest for Steam Vaults to get the Helm of the Claw and use that with an RED. You also severely need a respec - no points in Lethality, Imp. SnD or Relentless Strikes? That's pretty bad.
In short, quit trying to PvP and PvE with the same build, and use one of the "cookie cutter" builds.

I just kinad hit 70 so i've just been trying to get out of my blues. First thing i'm doing is respecing, for sure though
