Scarcity of lower level gearFollow

I have a level 27 rogue on Maelstrom and, for the past 5-6 levels, have been looking for some gear upgrades. The AH either has nothing appropriate in that range (appropriate meaning green with +agi) or the prices are just plain silly. Are others finding the same situation on other servers?

We must have a lot of twinks because the cost of blues is crazy, often more than 150g for mid-twenties gear. More than once I have gotten a low level (~13) blue drop that I've put on the AH for more than 75g as a joke and they have sold. Who would pay that much for gear that they'll outgrow in a week or so?

Well due to it being summer, there are a decreased amount of people playing now.
Also not many people are leveling alts anymore, most who would have already done so.
Less alt playing = less low level gear.
Both the server I play on has been like this for a while.
No gear to buy on AH or its just insane price.
Only thing that can remedy this is runs through the low level dungeons and/or go Leatherworking.
You'll be able to make your gear as you level.
If you already have a main then you can use that to fund it.

This reads like a poem :)

So far the lack of decent gear hasn't held me back. I have my banker alt check the AH every day, looking ahead several levels for deals. It looks like gear in the thirties is a little more plentiful.
