Okay, I'm combat swords. Here's my armory. I picked up this mace from a quest, and am wondering if I should move that fast sword I have to my offhand and use this mace in my mainhand? I have that 1.3 second dagger there now for the procs of combat potency, but a 1.5 second sword would almost be as good. Or should I just not worry about it and replace it with crap greens from outlands when I get there?

Why you don't have Thrash Blade from quest in Maraudon? o.O

Get asap to 58 lvl and go to Outlands, do 2 first quests and get nice green sword quest reward. Put Hanzo to oh, throw away dagger. If you have sword specialization you should use swords in both hands. Hanzo is imba sword, and I used it till i got my scimitar from Mana Tombs.

Farm Hellfire Ramparts first boss for nice MH sword.

BTW: you should change your gear, few pieces are awful.

I haven't done Mara as I have been just blowing through leveling. By awful, I expect you're referring to the pants, but actually, they're better than any I've seen at my level (outside of instances) due to the enchant on them. If you are referring to other pieces, let me know which ones you're talking about. I live to learn.

Your necklace makes mothers weep for their long-dead babies all over again.

With Hanzo Sword as main hand weapon? Well if I were you, I would do that Maraudon quest earlier, because with good (and Thrash Blade is very good) sword as main weapon you would blow through leveling way faster.

Right now ding 58 lvl and do few quests in Outlands (get some help if they will be too hard for you). You will get green sword very fast (at least it was on horde side, but ally should have similiar quest), and it will last for few levels if you will be unlucky on Shadowrend Longblade in Ramparts.

Oh yeah, change necklace. Get anything with +agility. I think you pay too much attention to your stamina. Oh yeah, I would change helm also, and new pants would be good too. Anyway you will get items in Outlands.

The defias leggings have +3 str, +13 Agi and +30 Stam. I have yet to pick something up from a quest which will better them. I have been, perhaps, too concerned with +stam and not enough with +agi.

I'm sure all of this stuff will be replaced quickly in outlands (I'll move the hanzo sword to OH when I get a decent mainhand... which if memory serves me right is one of the first few quests you get in outlands).

*Said as politely as possible*

Ignore stam, you don't need to stack it. Anything worth a rogue's time will come with enough. Stack hit > agi > ap/crit.

The helm, pants, and neck are terrible and the Honzo belongs in your off-hand. Even if you can't/don't want to run Mara for Thrash Blade (which you should, it's freakin' awesome with the sword spec), there are plenty "of the monkey" main-hands at the auction house. Find one with the highest average damage available to you. Or, as noted above, just get to Outlands. The first few quests in HFP will offer some very substantial upgrades in just a few hours of game time.

Also, in general, I don't bother enchanting anything except weapons while leveling. Slap fiery on any weapon you plan on keeping for 3 or more levels (at least, that was my rule of thumb).

Good luck and happy hunting.

Thanks for your inputs. Went to 58, got the Foe Reaver (3rd quest), now will get all the +agi stuff I can. Neck will be replaced from a quest I'm on now. Thanks, guys. I guess I had gotten hung up on +stam earlier in my rogue life (when I was a 19 twink) and never got out of the mindset +stam, +agi.

Pants are lvl 13. HERE is a list of leggings from level 30-55. You can find an upgrade pretty easily even before you go to outlands. Or just search the AH for anything with agi on it.

As I stated earlier,

I was also trying to match both the stam and agility from those pants and saw nothing that would match both of them.. but that was my mistake in not picking up something with more +agi. So, yeah, they are lvl 13 pants, but they had really good stats on em and I didn't want to pick up new pants and stick the new enchant on them.

Anyways... I'm working on replacing all that gear with good Outlands gear. I do appreciate y'all looking.

Thanks!

THESE are level 53 pants that I think you can get at level 40. 20 strength (which you shouldn't gear for anyway) and 20 AGI. The 30 stam is crap, you don't need it.

EDIT: Oh, and this is a simple quest reward, not a drop. I pretty much just clicked randomly and these came up, just pointing out that there is much better gear out there to get w/ little effort.

I think in my above statements, I already admitted that I had been looking for the wrong gear (e.g. I was putting too much emphasis on +stam). If you have a different point that I'm missing, let me know.

At any rate, thanks for all the help. My AP went from around 350 to around 600 with just some quest rewards. Thanks folks!
