It's the same thing.
BonusCritMeleeRating sounds like +X% damage from crits, but since that stat never appears on items (only on a meta gem) I suppose Robert's right.

It is Crit Rating, which is your chance to critically hit.
If it said Crit Damage, then it would be increase to your crit damage bonus.

It's an Armory bug.
I'm going to go one step further. It's bonus to crit for melee only. Whereas +crit would be both melee and range.
