Are there any UI's that show everyone's icon when in a raid or bg?

There are several addons that you can use to display raid icons for the members of your raid

GRID
HEALBOT
X-PERL

These are some of the more popular ones you could use

I use X-perl with the Clique addon to allow for mouseover click spellcasting. I also use Class timers to give me a bar to show the HoTs (and how many stacks of LB) I have on both myself, my target and any focus target I may have at the time.

For Example: I use Clique to set my Lifebloom as Shift+Left Mouse Button. I mouseover whichever raid member needs healing and hit shift + Left Mouse button and it will cast Lifebloom on that person without changing my target or focus. This is very helpful for raid healing as it allows you to cast as fast as your GCD will allow. I did the same for all my healing spells, rejuv, regrowth, swiftmend, etc...

An extra helpful thing I use in X-perl is the fact that you can set ranges based on your healing spells as well as set the icon to display how much health they are missing, percentages, if anyone else is healing them, etc...

Hope that helps you out some. The other addons I have never tried but have heard good things about as well. I am just happy with my X-perl (plus I like the ability to move my icons anywhere(including target of target/focus, and change sizes of icons. plus the character pics are cool how they actually reflect whoever the person is. I.E. their gear.)

Ok so I'm done with my X-perl addon plug. I like it. Good luck

I tried some too...

X-Perl, Pitbul or any of that kind works great too. But I had difficulties with the layout (Xperl not enough settings, Pitbul way too much! =))

I tried Grid + Clique and I never looked back. Grid allows you to configure a square/rectangle for each person of your party/raid and the layout is not big. You have different dots that can be shown depending of the person's state (like does he have aggro, are they cursed, etc.) and also displaying which hot I have running on who. I don't have a bar tho in grid, just a little dot. The interface can be confusing at first, but now that I'm used to it, it works great.

Clique is definitely a most, but it's not mandatory. I know people not using addons to heal and they are great! It's just a tool to help you out.

edit: X-Perl seems to have "evolved" since last time i tried.. i may try again pretty soon!

I was only resto for a couple weeks, but was intending to stick with it longer than that. I first tried Grid, but like nbouchard said the interface can be a little confusing at first, and when I tried healbot as an alternative I fell in love. It doesn't convey as much info about each party or raid member, but makes it ridiculously easy to perform the basic functions of healing and decursing/depoisoning. If you're going to stick with resto it's probably best to go thru the learning curve of Grid, but I recommend trying Healbot if that drives you crazy. Then upgrade to Grid when you thirst for more detailed info about toons across the raid.

I use xperl with bongos3. It clears up a lot of space and makes things a alot easier for me to find. I remember when I first saw xperl on a friends pc I about shat myself at how awesome I thought it looked. I mainly took it for the athestic feel of it, until I healed a raid with it, thats when I fell in love with it.
.
It's just so easy to hover over the raid frames and shift+left mouse click lifebloom.
