Hesitation Frost to FireFollow

So this question yet again. My situation as it stands is that by switching to Fire now i will loose aprox 70-90 frost spell damage.

I currently am using the Frozen Shadoweave Robes and Shoulders for DPS. I now have acquired the Merc Glad shoulders and Robes for the stam boost for Gruul's. So in your opinoins is it worth it to loose the damage and switch to Fire. Will i see an increase in DPS?

As you can see from the link i did switch to a 2/48/11 last night to give it a try. I did see about 100dps loss overall but an increase on boss fights where it truely matters. The next question that this brought to mind was spell rotation for trash mobs. In reading a bit i found tha most people scorched 3x then fireball. I attempted this numerous times with very little luck as the mob was usually dead before fireball was finished casting. In this case is it better to scorche mob until dead or no scorches and throw 1 mabey 2 fireballs?
