Going Pve To pvp! :: Free Realms

G'day everyone.

Im 70, and i hate raiding. so im switching to pvp.

My current build is 0/21/40.

Please suggest to me a build for pvp, hopefully affliction or demonology.
Also , a guide to using my skills in pvp wud be nice :D

Yeah... wouldn't it though? But, alas, you'll actually have to work to get better. Research is great, but learning by playing is best.

Start running Battlegrounds as soon as you can. The blue PvP set available for Rep is a decent start for gear.

Most PvP locks are Sl/Sl (for arenas), UA or Felguard (for Battlegrounds). Start with the Warlock's Den, then head to Elitist Jerks.

SL SL is the way to go for a lock, hands down. Many variants, I tend to go 23/38 or 25/36.

www.arenajunkies.com is a great source for arena.

Affliction pvp build. 2 spare points,imp coa or imp drain soul (for threat in pve)
Felguard pvp build.
Destro pvp build.

Make arena team as soon as possible,doesnt matter if you aren't good ,what matter is to stack points so once you get your personal rating up you can get all them fat epix.
Sl/sl is way to go in 2v2 and 3v3 (although you can find quite alot of ua/shadowburn locks 2200+).
Farm battlegrounds,get blue gear 1st,when you get enough honor ,start gettin s2 gear,oh and in case you dont have it 1st pvp item you should get is TRINKET !

That destro build is terrible, you would never kill anyone with that and die ridiculously often. That is not a viable destro pvp build, just like demo pve, destro pvp requires a lot of pts to support it. http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=IzZ0xZVE0trhtAuAo is a destro pvp build. That's what I use, and it works very well. I have also had decent success with http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=IZbxc0cZVx0trotAuAo , and the last patch supports that build. The important thing to remember while pvping as destro is that fire is your friend, you are the fire warlock people sometimes make fun of. But if you're good, they won't duel you more than once =).
