My girlfriend has a warrior that is about 3 bars from level 70 and she wants to do pvp with it. Should she be using a 2-handed weapon or dual-wield spec? She is currently specced fury with dual wield specialization, what spec should she be using? What is the best weapon choice for her to maximize her dps/damage in pvp and will a pvp warrior spec work in other instances/raids?

1) for maximum benefit in pvp (especially in 2v2 and 3v3), she should use 2h for mortal strike and burst damage. DW fury can be viable in 5v5 and BG's, as long as she stays alive and unnoticed long enough to do enough damage.

2) fury should be the standard 17/44 spec.

3) best weapon choice for maximum damage in pvp is sword for the extra attack proc. mace can also be useful for stuns, which may be more beneficial in 5v5 than smaller arenas.

4) yes, a pvp warrior spec can work in 5 mans if she follows a slam rotation. in raids, a 2h arms warrior must be specced into blood frenzy to be viable, as 2h arms personal dps is lower than DW fury personal dps, and second wind is near-useless in raids.

the mace stun makes a bigger impact in 2's and 3's, in 5's sword spec's burst potential shines.
