Looking for adviceFollow

So here is my dilemma...

I have a 64 BE Paladin who is curently Holy spec (+697 heals, 8.07% crit and 108 mana regen). Don't get me wrong I know this is crap for high lvls, but it works for me at 64.

For endgame, I want to be a healer. I want that to be my role and I've looked at the threads about what to acquire / start to acquire as I near 70.

However, right now (at 64) I am thinking about respeccing Prot. It is the spec I leveled to 62 with and am most comfortable with, however I do not want to tank for endgame.

I have healed Ramparts and BF a couple of times, both times getting great reviews for my healing. (Again I realize this is nothing for endgame, but hey)

So my question is, to all the paladins out there, would you suggest I respec to Prot to finish leveling or stay holy? Bear in mind that on my server, healing plate is very difficult to come by and I don't know how comfortable I would be trying to level with cloth & leather & and any other mish-mash healing gear I could get.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated and I hope to hear plenty of constructive criticism.

Thanks for your time.

Personally since you already made the switch 2 levels ago, if it were me I'd just stick with Holy. Heal lots of instances as you go and focus on your healing gear since that's what you want to do after hitting 70. Not really any point in leveling Prot and getting Prot gear to help you level, then starting your gear acquisition at 70 for the spec you're going to be playing.

Agreed.

If you wanted to level faster, you could respec ret, grab a few AH greens and do your best to pick up healing rewards at around 68. If you want the best gear u can get when u hit 70, just heal instances. I dont see how speccing prot will help at all since you would do instances anyway and tank/heals always have room in a group.
