What am I ready for?Follow

If anyone that feels like taking the time, could you just take a glance at my armory, and based off your own opinions say what you believe id be geared for? Really id say a t5 maybe early t6 level once i replace my lolpos legs with the skulker legs in kara or my badge ones and my cape with either the kara or za drop one. After which i should be hovering around 300-320 hit depending on what i get first.

I don't care in all honesty, since my guild isnt ready to raid anything that almost half of our serious raiders are geared for (Which unforutnetly is only about 20-30 people since I play on Blood Furnace, which if anyone has ever played on knows its insanely bad for pve. (The second guild ever to down Illidan on the server downed him about 4 days ago, and no hope of getting into a better guild being a rogue). ) but its mostly just to see where about I'm ready for to quell my curiosity.

Yes, I do like to explain my situations in full.

Your right at the tier5 level. Maybe tier6 easy stuff or with a guild that could carry you.

Get the badge legs and boots should help some.

But lets face it, its near impossible to get recruited as a rogue unless you have 4/8 tier6.

The thing you can change though is some of your gear/gem choices.
I kind of like the tier4 set bonus maybe pick up the shoulders if possible and try it out. It depends on how you play but I found for me even though the shoulders are rated lower the set bonus really helped me out.

gloves 15 agi
belt 8 hit
boots if you dont listen to anything else plus put surefoot on these.
boots 8 hit
chest 8 hit

I'de pick up the s4 dragon hide bracer's when you can and toss AP in it

What are you picking up for your second profession? LW for drums most likely isn't needed at your progression so pick up enchanting for ring enchants.

Some accurate info, some completely bad.

Surefooted is FAIL for PvE. It's the 3rd best boot enchant after Cat's Swiftness and Dexterity.

You can optimize your hit more by changing some sockets, but don't listen to the moron that posted about the Dragonhide. You should get Master Assassin's Wristwraps.

You should also be getting the Leggings of Scryer's Retainer (or whatever they're called).

You're geared enough for T5, but you're not geared enough for T6. Maybe first four in MH, first four in BT, but that's it because those bosses are retardedly easy.

Learn how to socket though, seriously. If there's a stam/resil/AP socket bonus, don't bother. Socket 8 hit in those til 343, then start with 4hit/4agi. You'll of course need two agi/stam gems to activate your meta, but that's all you should have besides hit gems (either hit/agi or straight hit).

Its one of the cheapest ways to gain 10 hit on your gear. As far as movement speed, I didn't have any issues with mobility in pve until the mother fight in BT, and by then you should have enough hit where you can pick up swiftness. Depends on what your lacking, in this guy's case its hit badly.

This guy needs boots and legs which are both major upgrades but the dragonhide is +4 crit,-30 AP(25 str, 8 agi) of the wrist wrap. Its a good start. You can't just suddenly have all the badge gear you need, you need to progress through it.

Thanks for all the imput, I think its all funny cause I knew all of it and it was really just confirming what I knew. As for my gems which I've considered redoing for hit I really just didn't think it was worth doing when i was replacing most of the gear soon anyway, chest I'll deffinetly switch the gem but the rest I'll consider for when I'm not trying to pull myself out of poverty from my 6th mongoose and working on my 7th.

As for the enchants, same deal, just don't have the money to spare on more expensive enchants, if i wasn't replacing the peices soon I'd do it but as is, meh. I mean if it'll really make a huge amount of difference I'll do it anyway.

As for badge gear, I need a good 251 badges to be completely done. And I can't exactly pull them out my *** over a week can I?

No, you're an idiot.

You don't "pick up hit" by just randomly enchanting for it. You can ask any thoerycrafting rogue what's the best DPS boot enchant, and for ANY fight where you don't have 100% DPS time (i.e. ANY movement AT ALL), Cat's is the best enchant for DPS.

Dexterity is the second best, or the best for fights like Teron Gorefiend.

I'd love to see your gear, because I'm going to guess that you just gem/enchant willy-nilly, and the only reason that you're gemmed properly is because of the lack of hit on T5/T6 gear so you can just gem all hit.
