The warlock FAQ is one of the least updated on the forum. Couldn't anyone update it?

I am looking for an Affliction build for leveling. Currently level 31.

Well, most of the links in there are to other forum posts that are many, many patches old. The builds for instance are links to posts that were made years ago! Just saying I think it would be great if someone would update it with some current info.

I agree. Just wish I knew enough to feel confident to update, even just a bit. But, alas, I'm still learnin'.

Anyway, here are my suggestions for affliction leveling builds at 40 and at 60. It's a good solo build and solid for instances in those level ranges. Note that Shadowburn is popular and could easily be added but don't ignore the threat reduction from Destructive Reach for instancing.

I'm completely open to any critique or suggestions. Just trying to help. Happy hunting!

Those are indeed good leveling builds, only thing I would argue is the points in Suppression. +Hit really isn't that necessary pre-70 IMO, though can help and isn't exactly wasted point.

I noticed a link in the FAQ to a post on "talents to avoid". It's fine overall, but it hasn't been updated in a while. Improved Drain Soul is now a required talent for Affliction locks in raids, as a 10% threat reduction to Affliction spells has been added to it (I believe since that guide was written).
