I was thinking of starting a warrior and with all the awesome races that I will actually I'm
stuck between a Dranei and Human on Alliance and Orc and UD for the Horde.

I like the Dranei +hit and Gift of the Naaru, but I really like the weapon specialty(sp) and the Rep reward on the Human side. As for Orc I like there +AP (forgot what its called) and +axe and stun resist. UD im not really sure about but I hear its awesome for PvP but idk why. Please help with suggestions and preferences.

Thank you.

Stupid me I meant race.

It really depends on what you want to do. Humans are a better choice on the Alliance side for PvE and PvP (Expertise and Perception, respectively) and Orcs are pretty solid for both as well. If you anticipate being a Horde tank you should pick Tauren, though.

The Undead racial is awful for Warriors because we don't really need additional fear breaks.

Well first of all, go horde =P

Second... Like Zip said, it depends on what you want. I personally would go with Orc or Tauren because they generally fit well with the class (lore and lookswise). If you're really intent on getting the stats right the question is pretty much do you want to tank, or do you want to do anything else?

Tauren have a bit more HP, which will help you when tanking.

Orcs have Blood Fury which has some use in PvP and PvE if you're a DPS warrior, and extra stun chance which will help you in PvP.

I rolled an UD warr for the pvp aspects. It seems these are underrated sometimes. Will of the Forsaken is a very useful anti-fear device, especially in the earlier levels, when you don't have any trinkets etc. Also in BGs especially your trinket will be on cooldown a lot and that extra anti-fear capability is very handy.

Also the benefits of cannibalise in the BGs is enormous. In BGs you are hardly ever out-of-combat, and so cannot eat. Using bandages a lot is expensive and they have the cooldown (recently bandaged debuff - same thing really). There are, however always bodies lying around, and chomping on one of those is a lot quicker (and cheaper and easier) than eating. By going fight - cannibalise - fight - bandage - fight - cannibalise etc. you can survive a long time with very little down-time.

The water breathing ability though - forget it. I don't think that will ever save your life.

Taurens just look cool though. A big giant tank! That was enough for me. Or, a big giant guy running around with a big giant weapon hitting little people (aka everyone besides a Tauren). Nothing says warrior more than Tauren :)

Of course, it doesn't really matter. That is just my personal opinion.

That's the main reason my warrior is Tauren =P Tiny Gnomes swinging huge axes just don't do it for me.

Not to be lame, but what game are you playing? I spend 50-60% of my time in a BG out of combat... If it's arenas you're on about I can understand, but if you are always in combat in a BG you're doing something very wrong.

OK maybe I over-exaggerated. What I meant was when you are fighting the battles can be quite long-lasting eg. in AV when storming the keep thingy there will be a prolonged battle and you will rarely be out of combat (unless you are dead). Similarly in AB there is quite often a prolonged battle over a base (normally the blacksmith).

It is during these times when you will spend very little time out of combat and the ability to regenerate that extra chunk of HP is very useful.

I know that 70% (my personal estimate) of the time you are guarding a base/flag and are out of combat, but these are the times when you can afford to eat.

Sorry I should have phrased it better, but I stand by my suggestion that the Undead talents are useful in (Battleground) pvp.

Alright, I can live with that. I just find that I rarely have the need to cannibalize (even though I can't). Whenever there would be an opportunity for it there is generally also an opportunity to eat.

While I agree the undead talents are useful for PvP, I'm not sure to what extent that goes for warriors. I'm not saying I'm a pro on the warrior class, but like RPZip said, the last thing I think I'd need as a warrior is a fear break, seeing as you already have 2 or 3.
