DW arms possible?Follow

This is probably a dumb thought, but is it possible to do an arms build while DW? I just made a 70 on a pvp server, after playing on pve for a while. So i see the benefit of the arms tree to survive from those damn ganking rogues. But my best weapons are the 2 dragonstrikes. I was thinking about switching from fury to the generic arms/fury build but switching the 5 pt 2h spec over to the DW pts. This would also give me 2 maces to be stunning things with. Any chance this is doable?

possible, yes.

good idea, no, for a few reasons:

1) mortal strike scales only with weapon damage, whereas bloodthirst scales with AP. high weapon damage can only be attained via the use of 2h weapons. if you dual wield with an arms build, you'll be limiting your damage output severely.

2) putting the minimum 31 points into arms to get mortal strike means that you won't get 5/5 flurry, 1/2 whirlwind, 5/5 imp. berserker stance nor any points in precision.

if you really do want to run around dual wielding maces to stun the crap out of things, your best bet will be roll a rogue and spec combat maces. if you want to keep being a warrior and stunning people, spec into 2h mace and get a stunherald.

Ok, didnt realize the mechanics of MS. I have the BS skill so i'll just have to make the 2H mace also. I'll def need to respec, cause im tired of the rogue ganking, just save my Dragonstrikes for raiding
