Hello everyone. Need to ask if there is a good place to farm for meat. I'm currently 54. But the meat I have doesn't keep my cat happy for long. I farmed turtle meat on the eastern coast in the hinterlands and it doesn't seem to work. Any ideas. Thank you to those whom reply.

Just buy the highest level food that you can eat from a vendor. Use for yourself and your pet.

Petopia has a page on feeding your pet. Basically any meat you get from areas within ten levels of yourself will work for pet food. Food lower than that works less well or not at all for very low level food.

However I suggest using drops for leveling your cooking skill and just buying the highest level meat or other pet food you can from vendors.

Try cooking food , not only does it help but it will give you a perfect buff if eaten ..

If you have not done cooking then you are missing out on great buffs , the turtle meat when cooked gives 874 health and 8 stamina and spirit it should just about keep your pet happy for a while at least .

Go to Azshara ? kill the spiders there to make spider sausage if you have cooking thats even better for your level.

I always have cooking on all my characters as its a great buff , and when you get to Outland you would be crazy not to have it as some foods boost Agility.

And i sell outland food and make a great profit , plus there is pet food in outland that boosts their stats as well.

I hope this helps you..

If you want your pet to get the most happiness, get food that is no more than 15 levels below your pet. So your level 54/55ish pet will eat level 45 food now, and will eat it until level 60. After that, you need level 55 food and that will work until level 70.

Do you have fishing? If you have, you never run out of food.

Quail - pets love it (at least my kitty did at that level).
