Is paladin leveling really that slow solo? Any tips for leveling a paladin?

It starts out slow, and then if you build your Paladin in a way that suits your play-style (and makes some sense), it gets faster, and Faster, and FASTER...

CapJack's guide is a great place to learn, and it is pretty concise, well written, and has had a lot of input from the rest of the Paladins here.

If you are completely new to the game and don't know that much about it yet, the "stickies" (forum threads that are purposely kept at the top of the forum because everyone decided they belong at the top) are a GREAT place for information.

Some of them get into some fairly complex game theory and math, which can make your brain hurt pretty bad if you are new to the game, but they are still well worth reading just to get the concepts of the class and the talent tree choices.

I have not tried CapJack's levelling spec, I levelled as more of a pure Retribution Paladin, but I was not playing solo as much as levelling together with a friend who played a shadow priest, so making my healing abilities better for levelling was not as necessary for me... I just went for the ability to do maximum damage.
