I am still pretty new to this game. I have be playing for about three months or so on one of the newer realms (Cairne). I have read a lot of information, and I believe I have my char. pretty well in line, but I was wondering if there is something that I am overlooking. Any advice or criticisms are welcome, whether it be about my build, gem, enchant, etc...

I'm currently in a casual guild that is just starting to get a few people geared up to run Kara and a few of the easier heroics, so I have tried to the best with my gear without much Kara or Heroics. We made it to Curator last week, but failed the gear check. I want to make sure that I am contributing all that I can, and try and compensate for some that are still less geared than I. I know that I cannot make the raid a sucess by myself, but I want to pull my share of the load. With your input that will help ensure that I am doing so.
I am trying to find someone to do the agility enchant to my gloves, but I have not been fortunate enough to find anyone yet:( Hence the AP enchant. I also have a couple of AP gems that I am thinking of replacing with the Agi gems. Anyother suggestions would be appreciated.

I wouldn't worry about replacing the gems, but when you get upgrades I'd put mostly agility in the sockets.
The badge axe is fantastic, as is the S3 axe for weapons, but what you have now isn't bad
For spec:
Get imp hawk. It's a huge huge boost. Then to make sure you have mana I'd get efficiency, imp mark isn't really worth it
Animal handler is quite important as it's the only thing that gives your pet hit. Also besital discipline should be maxed. this is the cookie cutter BM/MM build. If you can guarantee a pally keeping up wisdom or a shadow priest then efficiency can be swapped for mark, but it's just not that good a talent unless you have a ton of melee. IE: not for kara, and rarely for 25 mans.
Read the Sticky at the top, it'll give you lots of info.

As Xsarus stated, Aethien's gear list stickied at the top of the forums gives suggestions for each armory item. From glancing through your profile, I suggest new trinkets. Aethien's list gives suggestions for those. Congratz on enchanting everything possible. That helps a lot and many players skip it.

Thank you all very much for your responses, and thanks for the BM cookie cutter link. I saw the build I had some place, I don't remember where, listed as the cookie cutter build:( The one you posted makes a lot more sense, I will be changing mine as soon as I get to my WoW computer.
I do have a few other trinkets that I normally use, I have been mixing them up seeing which combination works best for me. I do have Bladesfist Breadth and the Core of Arkelos (sp?). Unfortunately, the Hourglass refuses to pan out for me. I've only had it drop once, but I lost the roll. With that being said, is the Nightseye Panther trinket worth having for the AP boost on equip?

Thanks again Xsarus!!! I have tried Cheeky's before, however I could not get it to work with open office:( Maybe there is a new version, I did something wrong, or just a botched download, but I will definately give it another shot. It's people like you that make for a good forum board!!! I normally don't join forum boards, as I have found most of them full of trolls or ***hats. So, I appreciate the helpful feedback as I am still trying to learn.

Yeah, I didn't get my hourglass until my 14th Black Morass run and after losing the roll for it twice before.

I guess we all have the same issues with damn trinkets, I would take this figurine just to look at something different. BTW 320 AP for 12secs is pretty damn nice. Is that the only bonus from Jewel crafting for hunters?

There are a few other JC only recipes. The Khorium Boar and Shadowsong Panther come to mind, but they require epic gems to create. Our server is new, so I don't ever see the gems on the AH, and we haven't opened that part of the SSO dailies so I cannot buy them with badges yet either.
