Raiding/PvP gear Follow

Hello,
As of now, I have a 67 hunter and i plan to hit 70 very soon. I was looking for any tips on gear that I should be looking out for, for both raiding and PvP. I was planning on getting the S2 weapons (ranged and axe) for now and when the arena team gets going, advancing to S3 and S4. Also, I am primarily MM with a little BM mixed in. I have read the raiding gear sticky and found it very helpful, but was just wondering if anyone else had any tips. Any ideas/tips for gear, spec, or macros would be very much appreciated.

P.S. (My 2v2 arena partner will be a rogue if that makes any difference)

11/41/9 is the cookie cutter spec for 2v2.

Playing with a rogue is possible if you play 0/27/34 or something close to that.
You'll have to try to win through CCing 1 opponent while bursting down the other.
Really not the easiest game to play.
