Hey guys,
A new problem I seem to be having especially in MH is targetting.
Just hitting the tab key doesnt seem to be the answer when I'am in the middle of AoE'ing and then have to burn down skull only to find it gone and now we're doing X but where the hell is X?
Is there a macro that lets you target the targeted mob thats been concentrated on?
I know theres one for the chains with Illhoof in Kara, is there something similar that would help me out with this?
My dps is great now but on the chart I'am still around 6 and 7, not because of lack of dps but the time it takes me to find the target I need.
So buggered if I know a way around this apart from mashing the tab key.

Try making an assist macro for your tanks. It will allow you to switch to whatever target that your MT or OT or whatever tank is targeting.
/assist insert tank name here

Get your guild to use oRA2 or CT_RA, it puts up tanks and their targets, makes it very easy to assist the tanks.

Or just DPS a random target and yell at your tanks for not keeping aggro =P

Thanks guys, the /assist macro looks the way to go but the only problem I can see with it is in MH we have 3 tanks tanking different targets as mains so its just a matter of kill order.
I'll try it but its really frustrating with so much going on at once to see what the target is that the raid leader is screaming about.

In some cases it's also good to target dps warriors or enh shammys target (or any other :D ). So if tank needs to swich target to sunder etc u will not pick up that wrong target in small moment. Depends on fight of course but thats how we have done it sometimes. (just told people who maybe did not know exactly what to attack, target *insert dps name* and press F)

I suggest using an addon such as xperl or the CT_raidassist one. I use xperl and this allows you to display a seperate frame with just the tanks and their targets. this allows you to easily click on the appropriate tank target and start dpsing them, reducing unnecessary pauses and aggroing the wrong target.

Hey SS, I do use Xperl so I got the Raid Helper addon for it and it makes the world of difference.
I had no trouble in MH at all last night and went from 8th to 6th on the dps chart as a cause of it.
So thanks for all the advice guys, appreciated it :)
