Hey, I recently re-specced into assasination and I have 20 points left for my talents. There's nothing I really want in assination so I'm having a hard time deciding if I should go Combat or Subtley for my last 20 points. What do you guys think?

Assassination (41 points)

3/3 Improved Eviscerate
5/5 Malice
2/2 Murder
3/3 Puncturing Wounds
1/1 Relentless Strikes
5/5 Lethality
5/5 Vile Poisons
2/2 Fleet Footed
1/1 Cold Blood
2/2 Quick Recovery
5/5 Seal Fate
1/1 Vigor
5/5 Find Weakness
1/1 Mutilate

Combat (0 points)

None

Subtlety (0 points)

None

Thanks for that mate. Although I can't see myself needing improved sprint.

Have you got any Sub ones?

Have you looked at the FAQ? It has a number of suggested level 70 builds, including this hybrid mutilate/combat/subtlety one.

That's actually a pretty bad build.

Guess I need to write a build FAQ for the Rogue Compendium. Smiley: frown

Imp Sprint is better than anything else you can take in the lower part of the combat tree that you haven't taken already.

As far as a mut/sub build goes, this is what I'd go with, but it's a poor build. It's only useful in PvP, and it's not even good for PvP then.

If you want a mut/sub build, you're going to want a heavy poison build.

If you don't reckon you're needing imp sprint, throw those points in endurance? I reckon it's pretty helpful if you don't have prep... That's a choice that depends on if you intend to 5-man/raid with mut or PvP with it, though.

If you´re dead-set on Mutilate, this is my recommended PvE build. For PvP, ask some of the resident PvP cUnts; I´m just a PvE cUnt.

There's already a decent one in the Rogue FAQ, and there's my horribly outdated post as well. If nothing else, save yourself the effort and shamelessly plagarize.

Actually, on second thought, incoming PM.
