well for the second time this week, i found a shadow pearl for under 5g on the ah... auctioneer said, 'whoah jump on that **** homie!' so i looked it up and found:

in the not-too distant future.

now over at wowhead, the comments for the necklace are all 'BEST NECK FOR FREAL DRUUUD' and 'ZOMG BEST HUNTARD NECK EVAR' but they're silent on rogues... oh yeah, here's my rogue...

the way i see it, it would cost me 200g to put two +8agi gems in there (none in the bank) to end up with:

37 agi (roughly 2% dodge, 1.25% crit, .25% hit 37ap total)
20 stam
3 hit

or i could go with two 3hit/3agi gems (pile of em in the bank) and it would cost 50g for:

27 agi (1.5% dodge, .9% crit, .75% hit, 27ap total)
20 stam
9 hit

or i could sell the shadow pearl again and just get the choker for free:

15 agi (.9% dodge, .5% crit, 47ap total)
24 stam
32 ap

i'm kinda leaning on the choker at this point, because i'm still about 1000g short for her epic flyer. i'd rather spend the 200g on mongoose i think... but then again option b is looking pretty good...

Natasha's Choker is better than both.

Go with the choker it's free. No need to waste gold on gems for blue necklaces. You'll undoubtedly end up with a better neck down the road either through Kara or heroics.

Question on "The Spreadsheet" .. are there any calcs, conditions, etc, in there that will make it work only for level 70's. Or has it been written with enough flexibility that I can compare items earlier than 70 (say, for my rogue at 61)

Or you could, y'know, get Natasha's Choker since it's available at pretty much the same level.

Good thing I had mah old school neck at 60, so I didn't have to worry about it. :P
