Lucky, that thing hasn't dropped for us once. With the rest of our bad luck on weapon drops I'm still stuck with the dagger off of Naj. :) I'd probably go with the pyrestones myself.
Spreadsheet it maybe? You should be able to get a pretty clear idea of if 1.2 SD is better or worse than 1 Haste at your gear level.
Since your in sunwell I have to assume your damage (buffed) is over the 1350 mark. You also probably have 4 pieces of tier 6. While you need spreadsheets to be absolutely sure, at your gear level I would have to assume that +10 haste is superior. My progression is only at illidan and I'm already transfering to +10 haste.
A lot of people, I have read, say that 1200-1250 shadow/fire damage (depending on fire or shadow destro - which is where you're at based on your armory that is linked in your sig that no one has clicked) is a good point to start stacking haste. However, I would also suggest taking a look at Leulier's spreadsheet, plug in all your info, and see what you come up with. If all else fails, there's also personal dps testing on Dr. Boom, too.
