Warrior build questionFollow

To start with I'm new to the WOW and since starting I have recently come to find the countless online forums to receive help with builds, talent alocations, guides and guilds to help out with leveling and cash. I recently completed my first run through the dead mines in Westfall (as a human warrior) which I must say was a lot of fun. No I didn't have some level 60-70 run me through. A few friends of mine, a paladin, 2 warlocks and a priest all ran it. The priest was lvl 33 I will say it may have been cheatin but he only bailed us out as needed. Anyways back to where I was going with all this, my question for the COMMUNITY is what do you feel is the best build out there for the new warrior, I feel that my current build, is something that I am extremely unhappy with. It started out using the idea of protection, thinkin I would be tanking for instances, but I soon realized that it is definitly not what I am looking for. I PVE solo mostly (through questing and grinding) and since running the mines, I'm looking foward to doing it again. I have the cash to respec the few points I lost to protection and if I must I will respec protect later on for a guild, but for now I just feel I'm not crushing the damage I should be. I will not be PVPing, I just don't feel that I want to. I more enjoy the smaller parties and instance runs.

The two builds I am looking to respec to are

The 17/44/0 DW warrior - according to most sites its the hack and slash of warrior builds using DPS (strong main hand and a fast off hand) as the major contributor to cut up piles into small pieces of steaming nothing.

The other is a 33/28/0 2H hybrid arms/fury look - from what I understand about this build its more suited to the PVP users who want the big 2 handers to lop off body parts in whole and see HUGE damage numbers crack up on the screen slowly.

This is my current build and I'm going to yank the 5 points in anticipation and alocate them to either DW or Arms after chosing which way I want to go.

Now I know someone out there is going to say chose what you feel suits you best, or dont be such a noob,(dont say it I beat you too it, you'll look like an idiot) well guess what I am that's why I'm asking the questions that I am. I have looked at most sites out there, Allakhzam, and others that I wont mention due to the site I'm posting on. I've seen the guides and most of the time I make my way by myself finding out I was somewhere I souldn't have been at my current level, usually running back to my corpse after dying. I guess through all this I may be looking for just a little guidence with some direction that may be able to help me out. If anyone could make a suggestion as to where I should think about going I'd be grateful and if you ran one of these routes let me know what you thought of it and if you had thoughts on running the arms or fury why you chose the one you did. Any information here that you can supply would be grateful.

Thanks WOW warrior community

if you aren't going to PVP, then you don't want the second build you posted.

the first build you posted is the classic DW fury PVE build for maximized damage. while you're leveling though, consider taking a few talents that you might spec out of at end-game. for instance, piercing howl will only cost you 1 point, but really does come in handy.

i do like the DW fury route myself, but another build you didn't mention is the improved slam, 2H fury spec. do a search on improved slam build and you should find more info. slam is not my favorite attack, but some people love it. if you like big 2H weapons, improved slam is a good PVE option.

and don't be afraid to respec while you're leveling to try things out. for instance, right after you get your whirlwind axe is a great time to try out improved slam.

There are not many easily accessible super awesome 1H weapons while you level, so DW may be a bit tougher. However, there are many easily accessible uber 2H weapons. So a Slam Fury 2H build while you level may be better for you.

Of course, remember that you can change things up. So spec depending on what you have. If you have nice 1H weapons, then spec DW. If you end up with a nice 2H, then re-spec and try 2H Slam.
