Going to MH for the first time tonight with a pretty serious guild...but I've never seen content past Kara. Respeccing combat, of course, but can anyone give me any tips or thoughts? Pretty much just don't want to f**k up. What potions/elixirs will I need? Any tips on the boss fights (I read up on the first 4, doubt we'll hit arch)?

Thanks in advance.

Good luck!

Not being into rogue raiding that far myself there's only a few tips I can give you;

-Slice & Dice
-Keep your feint button at hand (since it's your first time there, who knows what might happen)
-I suggest any kind of potions/elixirs that increase agility or attack power to maintain a higher DPS
-Slice & Dice
-Let your guild know it's your first time, and ask your class leader for tips as well. If your guild doesn't exist out of asshats they should be glad to help out.
-Slice & Dice

I'll leave the real boss/DPS tips to the hardcore raiders here.

Flask of Relentless Assault - +120 AP
Elixir of Major Agility - +35 Agi and +20 Crit
Thistle Tea - +60 Energy (Handy when AR is on CD and you need that little boost)
Drums of Battle - +80 Haste/Spell Rating on you and nearby party members
Drums of War - +60 AP and +30 Spell Power on you and nearby party members

Warp Burgers or Grilled Mudfish - +20 Agi and Spirit
Ravager Dog - +40 AP and +20 Spirit
Spicy Hot Talbuk - +20 HR and Spirit (Don't usualy use them but I have them)

Bandages/Health Pots

I know that's alot, but normally what I carry and have found helpful

You are going combat so that's covered.

Depending on your gear
2s/5r or 1s/5r (I think it's 1s/5r with the T4 set bonus??) I can't remember exactly right now....

Watch your aggro, tank should be good though if it's BT

Grab the DPS sheet and load your armoury and combat spec into it and see what it says for your rotation.

Good luck!! Can't wait to get there with my guild.

Bring Relentless Assault Flasks, Haste Potions, Hit Food (if not hitcapped) or Agi Food (if you are) and poisons, and don't ***** up. MH is pretty trivial.

Yea I've got a couple RAF's, 5 Haste potions, and w/o food I'm at 342 +hit, so I'm assuming I should use the hit food over warp burgers. Is this correct? I've watched the boss fights but am not experienced at all in 25 mans. Thanks for the input as well.

Rage Winterchill - Make sure you equip your 2 MINUTE pvp trinket before wave 8 and make sure you have it bound to a key. Don't stand in Death and Decay, you can CloS and run out. If you happen to take a little damage, and you're not able to DPS, bandage. Make sure to reequip your dps trinket after the encounter.

Anetheron - If you have a MS warrior, he needs to keep MS up, if there is not one present, equip wound poison to your OH, and make sure you keep a 5stack up. Have potions/HS's/bandages(yes, it will be doing 3/4 of the healing, but it will save you from a potential death. If he targets you for an infernal...DO NOT RUN THROUGH THE MELEE! Go around and find your FR tank. This boss will be one of the closest marks to your highest potential dps, if you don't get slept too often.

Kaz'rogal - You may be called to chain-distract with another rogue to give the raid time to rebuff and drink...THE BOSSES HAVE A HIGH TENDANCY TO RESIST, so make sure you have your fingers close to your sprint and vanish buttons. This is pretty much a tank and spank for us. His cleave will kill you, so stay behind him(yeah I know, but I had to say it)

Azgalor - Some guilds do this differently. We keep all of the dps on the boss, and let thrall and his lackeys take care of the adds. DON'T STAND IN THE FIRE :). You can cloak out of the debuff, pot or HS if needed. If you get the mark of doom, run to your designated tanking area RIGHT WHEN YOU GET IT, dont try and get a few more seconds of dps. There should be enough warlocks and druids to keep a SS/brez rotation going. This is pretty much the gear check for Archi, but he's really not that hard.

As for trash, Banshees and Necromancers will probably be your main priority. Communicate with other rogues if there are any, to see who will put up Mind-Numbing(it saves a lot of healing/mana). Make sure and kick/stun as much as possible. Tbh, this instance is pretty ezmode until you get to Azgalor's trash, and once you get that down, its a piece o' cake(or pie, w/e floats your boat). If you have any other ?'s, just send me a PM.

Edit: For I am awesome at spelling.

Sal and Theo - thank you for the input. I'll post an update after the attempt. This guild has everything up to Archimonde down, so it shouldn't be too hard. Didn't realize you had a MH guide on your compendium, nice work.
