Hi, I'll be your GPS system for today, sir.
Input destination: Rake.

Follow these directions:

1. Spin Widdershins four times.
2. Slap the closest female on the *****
3. Run away as fast as you can to avoid a smackdown.
4. When this fails, say you didn't get breastfed as a child.
5. Youtube the entire proceedings.
6. Use the search function on Allakhazam OR
7. Use the Petopia link in the sticky OR
8. Use the search function on WoWhead OR
9. Use the search function on WoWwiki
10. Repeat 1-5 indefinitely.

My mommy says I'm not mature enough to have one yet. Smiley: frown She says if she catches me outside the basement again without her permission, she'll lock the doors and cut the power... I'm afraid of the dark. There's things that skitter around in the shadows. Don't tell my mommy I was here... She doesn't like me talking to other people... ****, I can hear her...

And of course there is no point in going to Mulgore for the Rake any more.

You can pick up an ordinary lion in the Barrens and it has exactly the same graphic.

It isn't hard to get there but at 10 you'll likely get killed a few times simply because you'll have an enormous aggro radius.

The fact that you have to come and ask how far it is and where probably means you'll die a lot more than someone resourceful enough to figure it out for themself Smiley: smile

PS don't forget to pick up the Flight Points along the way (only the Alliance ones!)

Another hunter with a death wish i see .

"The Rake" is not a special pet it looks the same as all the Male lions and is exactly the same as them if tamed.

from Darnassus its simple you go through the portal thing behind the bank , then take a boat to Darkshore you then run through Darkshore with level 10-20 mobs wanting to eat you until you get to ashenvale where you run through level 20-30 mobs until you see the sign for the barrens follow that road avoiding the horde outpost by going through the broken fence and run along the road until you see a lion the right level to tame but they start at level 12 , but avoid Horde at the crossroads as well.

If lucky you may get there still alive , but you can res just outside the crossroads anyway , ohh and its better to be killed by a beast as if you get PvP up you will get attacked fast unless you hide for a while.

If you still want The Rake from the crossroads you head towards Mulgore , total run time probably around an hour and have fun trying to find The Rake he spawns north east of Thunderbuff.

I had the Rake back when it mattered. My dwarven hunter did the run from Loch Modan to Mulgore for that 1.2 attack speed pet. He held aggro better than anything else at his level. Since they normalized all animals in a family, that isn't an issue any more.

Yeah, but way back when, Brokentooth was the 'bomb' to have and now he's just another cat.

I got tired of waiting for him to spawn, spent hours around Uldaman just waiting and watching every beast on the Radar. He never showed, so I tamed Morris. Now Morris has the last laugh, he's just as good as Brokentooth. How the mighty have fallen. ^_^
