any one know what type of stats a smitter would need
+spell crit, to get more free, instant smites. +intellect also affects crit.
+spirit ofc gives mana regen, and up to 35% is converted to damage and healing depending on your talents, good stat for both healing and dps-ing with this build.
Other than that, +spell damage and +spell hit for damage dealing or +healing for healing.

For leveling: spirit and intellect, make sure you have Spirit Tap. Get +crit when you can, probably starting about 45, and a bit of +dmg.
Outlands: Hit rating to cap (raiding only), +dmg, and crit.
