Switching Specs/GearFollow

#1 Jul 01 2008 at 5:43 AM Rating: Decent
Hey, I need some help I am currently a lvl 62 Tauren Druid (feral) and when I hit lvl 70 I want to change to Resto, What instances/quests should I do to obtain some very nice lvl 70 Healing gear so I can switch to resto and be able to heal heroics & raids such as Kara etc?? Please help?

And how should I put my points into Resto etc, Cause I would still like to be able to do the dailies in Isle of Q so I need some stable DPS & Heals to be able to do Raids etc aswell or Should I just go full resto and have a daily buddy help with the quests??
Thanks

For the gear, there's some site that has search features to help you find armors you could use. You should look either cloth or leather. Pay attention to the either +Spirit or MP5. Personnaly, I prefer +Spirit!

For the build, there's really nice resources on the web, druid wiki, wow wiki that contains lots of build to help you!

I'll throw my 2cents anyway, I was using the standard healing build with some points in balance to do ... almost decent dps. But I realized with so-so gear, I was missing a faster and stronger healing touch, so I usually spec 61 points in resto and take about everything related to healing.

Now, I play a little bit more with my build. With 1700+ healing, restokin is cool and provide nice dps. Dailies are much more easier than in full resto :)

If I were you, since you are not 70 yet, so you have no kit really yet, I would go with the standard resto build with some balance talents to help soloing. Something like : http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=0tLrzzhZZxVcxcq0eot

See this page : http://www.wowwiki.com/Druid_builds
There is a list of builds with comments about them

Good luck !

Well i am currently running the http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=MzZxGGsfroezioVxcz spec atm for lvling and was intending to stay this way till I hit 70 for its much faster lvling.
So do you know that site that tells me what instances etc I would need to run so I can get some healing gear for myself??

You can easily use : http://www.wowhead.com/?items=4 create a filter with the information you want and you have a nice list of things you may want. I guess Alla has something similar too, but, I'm used to wowhead ;)

I used to look at the following site: http://www.wow-loot.com/druid.htm which has nice list of loot per zone/instance.

** EDIT : Removed the link to the HK site I linked since Alla won't let me link it anyway! :)

But you can find it easily (and it looks safe, no script haven't raised a warning over that page) using google and searching for : druid healing gear pre raid

There was a nice list of items to get pre-heroic/raid. But... having a name with wowgold and an extension called hk... I usually don't trust those sites =)
