Can druids use ranged weapons like bows or wands?
Nope, the list is at http://www.wowwiki.com/Druid under the armor and weapons section. Wowwiki (and allah) is your best friend.
We get "Idols" for our "Ranged" slot. They're like Paly librams and Shaman totems, they give a passive buff to one or two special abilities. The first one you can get is around level 52.
