Forgive a warrior trolling the rogue forums, but...
My guild is currently in early T5 content and working on Leo. The top dpsers in the raid are usually one of the mages, one of the hunters, myself and two of the rogues. One of the rogues is slightly better equipped with a hundred or so AP and a few crit% more than the other rogue, badge fists, fist spec and 500-600ms latency on a good day (playing from South Africa). The other rogue has about 30 more hit rating, 91-92 dps swords, sword spec and 1-200ms latency (playing from the US). I would link them both from the armory, but unfortunately can't do that from iPhone. However, the latest WWS are showing the second rogue at about 900-1000 dps on Leo, and despite the gear discrepancy he is either right there with the first rogue or topping him slightly.
I don't remember exactly what their rotations were, but iirc they both had identical usages of SS and SnD, with maybe variance in usage of rupture or evis that I can't recall. I dont remember what poisons they were using either, but hopefully I can dig up an older WWS with both of them in it. I thought maybe the second rogue had a very high time on target to the point if taking too much damage and healing, but he seems to show up near the bottom if healing taken.
I'll try to follow up on the missing info, but essentially I'm wondering if sword spec, +30 hit rating and better latency would allow the second rogue to dps as much as he is able to.
