my armory

http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Frostwolf&n=Iheal

k so i just replaced teh light blessed bonds with the t5 gloves and for whatever reason i lost like 20+ healing, gained 4 spirit, and the 2 piece set bonus... i hope it was a good trade.

Anyway, i'm wondering if i'm going about upgrades the right way. Obviously, i want to replace my robe. I'm lookin to get Robes of heavenly purpose whenever bear boss drops those in ZA. I dont want to waste 100 badges on the new chest. Taht is my first pickup upgrade i'm looking to get. I DO want to purchase Slippers of Dutiful Mending next however, I'm wondering if I should just wait for ZUljin to drop the Two-toed Sandals or not... i mean, i really dont know how much of an upgrade either is over teh boots i have now Boots of the Long Road. Thoughts on these two gear slot choices?

Also, is there any other slot of my gear with more pressing concerns? my helm kinda sucks but until Hex drops Hood of the Third Eye i dont really know what i could do with that slot. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you

Gloves + shoulders is definitely worth it. So worth it that you don't equip your T6 gloves and shoulders until you've got your chest and helm already, so that you jump from 2pT5->4pT6.

I'd probably stick with the ZA robes as well, if you can get them. The badges robes are ever-so-marginally better, but so much so that I'd rather spend the 45 badges or 900g on the gems for the ZA robes than an extra 55/75 badges. Especially since you can get some other pretty good stuff right now.

It'd get the boots. They're better than Long Road, the SSC ones, the ZA ones, and both the Hyjal boots. I'd also get the ring, Anveena's Touch is up in the top 3 healing rings. Only other thing I'd really consider at this point would be grabbing Voodoo Shaker for the extra healing/regen on it, but only after you've gotten the ring and boots.

Can you explain to me how they are better than http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32609

I don't really understand healing gear that well

They aren't as good, but the OP isn't raiding T6 content so its a bit of a moot point.

eh.. actually... the badge boots are situationally better. in order to make the hyjal boots equitable in terms of spirit and heal, you would ahve to get gem for the set bonus and obviously that would be + 10 spirit in the blue slot and + 10 haste in the yellow.... with +11 or + 22 heal in the badge boots, it kills the boots of the divine light.. at least imo

Boots of the divine light seem like they are very good for stamina heavy fights like najentus and the like, and I am aiming to pick those up as well... but, slippers of dutiful mending are quite a reasonable badge purchase as well.

I have those boots gemmed with 2x10 spirit gems, and would take them over the vendor ones for the simple reason that they have a decent amount of stamina on them. It's not something you can do without when raiding anything past T5 content. At that point you're only real concern is keeping the +heal over 2200 or so and building up your mana regen.

Edit:
I lie, I'm using a luminous pyrestone in one of the slots. I only use 2 of those overall to activate my meta, with the rest being +10 spirit gems

Socket for bonuses (22heal in badges, pyrestone/sapphrie in Hyjal), and badges get you -4int +2spi +17healing (alternatively, +7spi +6heal with an amethyst). Not a big upgrade if you already have the Divine Light, especially health-wise, but since he's a ways off from them I'd get Dutiful and not look back.

Then again, my belief is that you don't truly need more regen if you can chainchug pots and still be good on mana, which shouldn't be happening until at least T6 and probably getting into Sunwell. If you're really into spirit, Divine Light might be a bit better for the extra 8 spirit.
