Abandoning Warrior QuestsFollow

#1 Jun 27 2008 at 5:26 PM Rating: Decent
So I know I'm an awful warrior for doing this. But i was unable to get help early on for my WW weapons quest. So I never really completed it I got focused on leveling telling myself I would get to it when I could and just quested past it.

I got the mace from SM then Ulda and just used them. Now I'm level 51 and getting my IBS as soon as i get a chance. Is it alright to just abandon this quest? Are there any abilities that come with this quest chain I would be missing?

Also is there anything major aside from gear at the end of the level 50 quest chain?

Another warr I know also missed this quest, and still kicks my *** every duel! It would have made your life easier to have the weapon from this quest, but other than that you haven't missed anything really, except a bit of xp and possibly some +rep. Don't worry 'bout it, just carry on.

Well its not the weapon I'm worried about its an ability I might have recieved. Such as not doing the berserker's stance quest keeps you from getting berserkers stance.

If there isnt a major ability at the end of the quests I guess theres no reason to not just skip it.

Thank you!

PS I was really worried because I use an addon called lightheaded that adds comments from wowhead.com to my quest log. For one of the quests someone said to just charge in use recklessness and pray because you had to solo 3 tough monsters. I was worried the WW quest may have given Recklessness and I had missed it. I was obviously relieved when i trained it at level 50. Wall of PS text crits you for 9999999damage!

you can skip the WW axe quest if youd like. its not a necessary thing like the zerker and defensive stance quests (which, incidentally, are the onlyt "required" quests for a warrior).

The level 50 quest is pretty useful however. I've been lugging around the Diamond Flask since I got it. http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=20130;source=live It's still one of the best grinding trinkets I have. +150 AP for 1 minute out of every 6.
