For Group PvE...

Filler talents for 4th Teir Enhc, is Anticipation or Insta-Ghost Wolf more useful?

Filler talents for 2nd Teir Resto, is Imp Reincarnation and 3/5 Totemic Focus or 5/5 Totemic Focus better?

How often will Totemic Mastery be needed?

What's more important, Concussion or Mental Quickness? Or is this something that changes once your AP scales up?

For group PvE, I would probably take anticipation over instant ghost wolf, as I assume you're going to be raiding instances, where GW is useless anyway (can't use indoors).

I think 5/5 totemic focus is better as in group PvE you will be dropping a lot of totems, especially if you totem twist.

Totemic mastery is a very good 1 point talent so groups don't lose the buff if they pull a bit far away. Mental quickness is far better than concussion, and it scales with AP which is nice, think about it, a raiding enhance shammy has like 1300+ AP, so that is an extra 400 + damage to your shocks for 3 points, not bad.

I would use this build for group PvE

Re: Build suggested by Taurrus

Do you find Imp Reincarnation is actually worthwhile?
I always looked at it like "if I'm using Reincarnation a second time that fast, I'm probably pissed at the group enough that I don't want to reincarnate"

I wouldn't look at it as just coming back from a wipe. You could start off with an unlucky string of crits and pull aggro early on in a fight. Maybe the tank missed a mob, and rather then let it go eat your healer alive, you tank it: possibly resulting in your death. There's a number of things that could go wrong, and imo, being able to come back from them quickly is a very valuable asset.

I think I use Reincarnate a lot more to rez mid-fight after something went oops wrong, then I do to come back and rez the group after a wipe. Of course it's all based on the situation: you have to use your judgement, but it serves more than just the one purpose.

It also helps when soloing, since I am used to playing my Prot Paladin, I have a tendency to bite off more than I can chew: but that's just my own stupidity there =P

I hadn't really considered the extra 20% health/mana for a mid-fight resurrection, obviously not a big concern after a wipe. But yeah, mid-fight that could be pretty big.

And you are right, even in a group I'm not ready to give up on, an early "oops" by the tank can spell my imminent doom. And staring at ceilings is never as fun as it sounds.

Thanks for the reply.
