I'm by no mean a hard core raider. The only raiding that I have done is Kara, about 5 trips in now. But I do like it and would like to become better at it.
Anyway to my question, I did a full clear of Kara with a PuG last night and everything went pretty smooth but there were certain times when someone was yelling over vent for a decurse, but I can't put the voice with the toon. So I'm frantically clicking on everyone in the raid trying to figure out who needs my help.
Is there a way to show everyone’s portrait with buffs and curses in a raid, like it does with a 5 man group? Or do I need an add-on to do this? Thanks for the help.

It's easier with an addon like Grid.
However, for Kara, since it's only 10-man, you can use the WOW UI. Just pull the 2nd group out of the raid window and into your UI. Then, you can select the option to "show debuffs" or something like that - I think it's actually defaulted.

Check out decursive addon. It puts small squares in upper right of screen, one for every member of raid. If someone gets cursed it lights their box up bright red and you just click on the little red decursive box. Its not necessary at that level but helps, and i couldnt imagin doing archimonde or kalecgos without it.
I like SmartDebuff myself.

Never really used smartdebuff. I've had it installed and uninstalled it because I didn't know what to do with it, lol. Decursive is fantastic.

I started using it right after they broke the old Decursive and haven't tried the new Decursive.
any type of raid frame display will work, whether it's the blizzard standard ui, x-perl or grid, to select the cursed player. just make sure you show curses.
i don't use an addon for the actual decursing, i use a home-made macro:
/cast [target=mouseover] Remove Lesser Curse
this will decurse the person under your mouse cursor without selecting them. no clicking, so no switching targets. you can keep your mob/boss as a target and continue casting immediately.
