The easiest way would be to go east through Ashenvale until you get in to Darkshore. Make sure to stay off the roads as much as possible, or you'll end up running into Astraanar (Alliance town). In Darkshore, run all the way up the coast until you get to the Alliance town there, and get into the water. Swim all the way to the very end of the dock, where a boat docks. This leads to Azuremyst Isle. Drown somewhere underneath where the boat stops. While you're a spirit, run ON the dock to where your body is and wait for the boat. Get on it, and when the boat hits the loading screen, it'll resurrect you.

If you die to an alliance NPC, make sure that you at least try to die OFF the boat, so you can run back to your corpse, or else you'll end up back in darkshore.

Also, make sure that you have Burning Crusade installed. If you don't, you can't get to the island.

In addition to the info above.
1. Depending on how fast your PC loads, you should have plenty of time to jump off the boat before it reaches the dock, giving you a short swim to shore (instead of a short fight with guards followed by a long walk back to rez)
2. Make sure your hearthstone is finished it's cooldown, so you don't have to bother with the whole sequesnce of steps in reverse to get back home.
3. Profit.

You could also simply get naked to avoid durability cost and corpse run several times until you get on the boat. There's no guards on it and those on the dock will not follow you into the boat.

At least they didn't for my lvl 70 'lock.

...but it's easier to wait for 58 when you can enter Outlands and tame one as you're used to.

Without a mount and at level 22 however, what those 2 others said is probably your best bet. And remember to get naked in case you die!

Why is there always mention of durability costs if you die ?

At low level its not that expensive from what i have found ?

The others have described it reasonably well but there are two choices of ravager and levels and red or green , the red 10 ? level is north east of the exodar , the green is on bloodmyst isle and roughly slightly west of the center at around level 17 , a few fun mobs there so take a trash pet with you . It is fairly simple but takes a little time to get there.

Have fun as they are fun pets and good even at end game.

but why corpse run a bunch of times when you could die once and run back once?
