I just respecced after hitting 70 in order to start grinding honour and I'm loving the crap out of it. I hit Kidney Shot, run behind, then **** blows up.
I'm not claiming that I universally kick ***, it's not as consistent as combat swords was for general PvE, and ShS obvious has its own advantages, but...seriously, I'm having some fun. My gear is pants enough that a pair of Ced's Carver's represent a huge upgrade, and I haven't even got the faction PvP set yet, but I still manage to kill more than I die, which is a big thing for a guy who's been combat swords since level 22. Maybe it's the joy of discovering what my dwarf's dagger animations looked like. Maybe it's finally getting a serious benefit from the poisons I carry around. Maybe it's the warm feeling I get in my pants when I do it from behind. But this, right here, this is why you play a rogue.
Just in case you lurk around here and for some obscure reason you've never tried muti, go do it. Now. It's worth 50g and an afternoon of being kited to do it occasionally. I seriously think I've found my calling.
